Mary is the Mother of Compassion who suffers with, who has our misery close to her heart as you said. But she's also the Queen with a crown of stars who crushes the head of the Serpent. It is an act of mercy and of justice to raise up the lowly. And it's an act of mercy and of justice to throw down the princes from their thrones.
